Personally identifiable information

The purpose of collecting and storing this information is to process your request, register you for the course or activity you selected, and/or assist you in navigating this site. If you request continuing education credit for any certified course or activity offered and completed through our site, your personally identifiable information will be stored in a separate database as required by our accrediting bodies. By requesting continuing education credit, you agree to allow us to disclose your personally identifiable information as may be necessary for you to receive such credit.

We may use personally identifiable information about you in that database after you request continuing education credit to inform you of additional services, courses, and activities that may be of interest to you, and/or to contact you regarding changes to our site.

We will not sell personally identifiable information about you to, or share any such information with, any other company or firm.

We will not send you e-mail communications that you have not agreed to receive.

Nonpersonally identifiable information
In addition to the information described above, our site collects various types of information concerning the use of our site. For example, it measures activity on and navigation within the site to determine its most used areas and determines the most frequently used points of access to our site. Our server also collects the domain name and internet protocol address of the user (but not the specific e-mail address of the user). This information is used only in aggregate form, and not in a way from which personally identifiable information about you can be determined.

The purpose of collecting these data is to determine how we can create a better overall experience for our users. We may also share this information, again only in the aggregate, with our partners who offer links to information, courses, and services through our site, to assist them in providing you with a better overall experience as well.

Our site includes areas in which you may provide feedback on an activity by completing an activity evaluation survey. We also have areas where you can offer comments through a contact page. The text of any feedback submitted becomes the property of education | outcomes | science. We may use any comments, feedback, or evaluation data provided—but not the identity of the person submitting it—for marketing and promotional purposes. We may also contact you to follow up on or request further feedback on the evaluation, comments, or feedback you submitted about the site or the activity.
